Provider Policy
Last Updated: September 2026 (version 2026-09)
The Terms of Service are the legal agreement between you and Strictly Moris. This policy explains what we expect in everyday words. If the two ever differ, the Terms apply. You agree to this policy by ticking the box when you submit a listing, or when you claim a listing we prepared for you; the date and the version are recorded on that listing.
1. Who this is for
This policy is for anyone who lists on Strictly Moris — a business, a service or an activity — whether you built the listing yourself or claimed one we prepared for you.
You agree to it for each listing you publish, and the date and version are recorded on that listing.
2. Be truthful and honest
This is the rule the whole directory rests on. Everything in your listing must be true.
- Your business name, what you offer and where you are.
- Your prices, and what they include.
- Your opening or working hours, as you actually keep them.
- Your qualifications, certifications and years of experience.
- Your photos: they must be of your own place, your own work or your own team.
Do not list yourself as someone else, invent credentials or licences you do not hold, or fill your keywords with services you do not offer so you appear in more searches.
3. Keep it current
A listing that is out of date is a listing that misleads. Update your hours, prices and contact details when they change, and pause your listing if you stop operating for a while.
The "Open now" badge and the day pills are calculated from the hours you enter, so those hours reach customers directly.
4. Respect the people who contact you
Reply politely, even to an enquiry you cannot take. No spam, no harassment, and no discrimination against anyone who contacts you.
Use a customer’s name, number or address only for the enquiry they sent you. Do not add them to marketing lists or pass their details to anyone else.
5. What Strictly Moris is — and is not
Strictly Moris is a directory. We help customers find you; we are not part of what happens next.
- We are not a party to any job, sale or booking you agree with a customer, and we take no payments.
- We do not guarantee you enquiries, customers or income.
- Approval of your listing is a basic accuracy check. It is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a licence to trade.
- Your licences, permits, taxes, insurance, the quality of your work and any dispute with a customer are yours to handle.
The legal clauses that cover liability, indemnity and governing law are in the Terms of Service, sections 12 and 19 to 22.
6. What we may do
We review listings before they go live, and we may ask you for proof of something you have claimed.
We may reject, ask you to change, suspend or remove a listing that is false, misleading, unlawful or harmful — and we record your agreement to this policy, with its date and version, so our team can see it.
7. Tips for a listing that works
None of these are rules. They are what we see working for the providers customers contact most.
- Use all five photo slots, in daylight, showing real work rather than stock images.
- Enter your real hours: the "Open now" filter is one of the most used, and it only finds you if your hours are there.
- Reply quickly. Quick Replies keep answers short, and customers see when you are active.
- Add the keywords people actually type — in English, and in Kreol or French.
- Write a specific description: what you do, who for, and what makes you different.
- Pick the sub-category that matches your main trade; extra categories come after it.
- Attach one clear price list as a PDF if your prices need explaining.
- Ask happy customers to save and share your listing.
8. Questions and changes
Write to support@strictlymoris.mu with any question about this policy.
We may update it. The version at the top of this page changes when we do, and we may ask you to agree again before you publish or edit a listing.
